Before a five year stint in public service, John was the former partner and managing director of the Holrob Equity Fund. Upon his return, he is focusing his efforts on commercial brokerage, tenant representation, and investment property acquisition. John, a Certified Commercial Investment Member candidate, has an undergraduate degree and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. John currently serves on the board of directors of Peoples Bank of the South where he chairs their audit and compliance committee and is Vice President for the Great Smoky Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America. John has also been recently affiliated with board representation on several civic organizations including St. John's Episcopal Cathedral, Nucleus Knoxville, East Tennessee Historical Society, Junior League of Knoxville, Junior Achievement of East Tennessee, the Knoxville Botanical Garden and is the former chairman for the Innovation Valley Tech Council.
