Holrob expands retail holdings in Turkey Creek
Holrob Investments, LLC will exceed 100,000 square feet of commercial development in the Turkey Creek area with the construction of Parkside Station, over 20,000 square feet of retail shops and outlots including a 7,000 square foot restaurant and an 8,400 square foot bank. Initial construction is scheduled to be complete in Fall 2006. Once complete, Parkside Station will join a growing list of Holrob-developed properties in the Turkey Creek area, a list that includes the Earthfare Grocery and surrounding shops, Park Terrace and Parkside Shops. A second phase of development for an adjacent four acres is expected to begin construction in 2007.
Turkey Creek is the single largest commercial development ever built in metropolitan Knoxville, Tennessee. Covering over 300 acres and designed for mixed use, the Turkey Creek area includes retail shops, theaters, restaurants, medical facilities, office space, banks and hotels. It is located only 3 miles from the junction of Interstate 75 and 40 to the west of Knoxville and 14 miles from downtown, making the site a quick drive from the urban center, suburban Knoxville, and rural counties.
